Description

Mecklenburg County Solid Waste is hosting a Hazardous Waste Collection Event for businesses that qualify as a Very Small Quantity Generator (or VSQG) under the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA). To qualify as a VSQG, a business must generate less than 220 pounds of hazardous waste and less than 2.2 pounds of acute hazardous waste each month.  

LOCATION: Mecklenburg County Metal & Tire Recovery Center, 5740 Rozzelles Ferry Road, Charlotte, NC 28208

The VSQG Hazardous Waste Collection event will take place Wednesday, March 9, 2022. This one-day collection event will be managed by ECOFLO, Inc., a licensed hazardous waste processing company in North Carolina. This event is by appointment only.  Call 800-888-7982  EMAIL  County Website
