Description

The Lake Norman Chamber Diversity Council was formed in 2008 and is responsible for a number of programs. The mission of the Council is to aid small, minority and women business-owners and address any unique needs or issues; promote community involvement; host the Annual Lake Norman Region Women’s Conference; host forum(s) in collaboration with Central Piedmont Community College for Chamber Members and Community Citizens on diversity issues which impact race, culture, sexual identity, and other factors impacting our community and region; and host the Annual Diversity Luncheon. This is an open meeting all are welcome to attend. This Month is Black History Month.  Our topic will be Trilogy of African American Housing: History, Challenges, and Solutions.
