Lake Norman Chamber Focus Friday to Feature North Meck Mayors

The Lake Norman Chamber will host the Mayors of Huntersville, Davidson, and Cornelius for the February Focus Friday – Friday the 18th 8:30-9:30 am virtually. The program will be streamed via ZOOM for Lake Norman Chamber of Commerce Members and selected guests. The video recording will be available for later viewing via the Chamber’s YouTube Channel. Mayor Melinda Bales, who has served on the Town Board since 2011, is serving her first term as Mayor. Both Mayors Rusty Knox and Woody Washam, who were unopposed in last fall’s election, have served as Mayor since 2017.
Jeff Tarte, former Cornelius Mayor and North Carolina State Senator, will emcee the program. Tarte is the 2022 Public Policy Chair of the Chamber. It is expected the three mayors will touch on major projects, developments, and planned infrastructure improvements for their respective town.

Focus Friday is a public policy program of the Lake Norman Chamber of Commerce which examines community and legislative issues from multiple perspectives. While intended for Lake Norman Chamber of Commerce members and community leaders, guests are welcome by RSVP.
