Lake Norman Chamber Members and Area Volunteers:
The devastation to Western North Carolina is beyond description. Over the last three weeks, Lake Norman area volunteers have worked tirelessly to deliver much needed supplies to those who have lost so much. Now as we head into the fall season – this is the time of the year Western North Carolina most depended for retail and tourism sales. Instead, many find themselves without homes and the basic supplies to sustain their lives.
Your gracious gifts continue to make a difference! We are continuing to take in supplies at these locations:
Collection will be happening from 8:30 to 5:00 each day

Batteries; Laundry detergent; Wheelbarrows; Chainsaws; Charcoal; Small camp propane tanks; Adaptor to hook grill tanks; Fans; Generators; Tarps; Camp stoves/butane canisters; Inflatable mattress; Grill / charcoal; Lanterns; Heaters; Rakes; Pole saw; 5 gal buckets; First Aid cases; Dog food; Sensitive dog food; Cat litter; Diapers size newborn 5, 6, and 7; Tent; Camp chair; Bee spray; Paper products; Bowls; Cutlery; Bug repellent; 50' extension cord; Garbage bags; Shovels; Bath towels; Sheets T, F, Q; Pillows; Dehumidifier and Generators.
CASH DONATIONS
Our Chamber has a Foundation and it is a 501 c3 nonprofit. 100% of all proceeds earmarked for Western NC will go to that effort and we are accounting for all funds.
