This month program held one week earlier to avoid Easter Weekend
This month’s Focus Friday will feature John Bradford – the Former North Carolina House District #98 Representative. The program will be held Friday, April 11th from 8:30 am to 9:30 am at the Lake Norman Chamber 19900 West Catawba Avenue in Cornelius. Note – this is one week earlier because of the easter Weekend April 18-20.

John is an experienced entrepreneur and CEO. He is a professional property manager with a demonstrated history of solving business problems for the property management industry and is experienced in both local and state government. He is the founder of two different companies, Park Avenue Properties and PetScreening, which were both started from the ground-up.
PetScreening has been nationally recognized three years in a row as one of the fastest-growing privately owned companies in the United States. John was elected 4 terms to the NC House of Representatives and was responsible for passing most of North Carolina's property rights and Tenant-Landlord related legislation.
John graduated from Clemson University with a B.S. in Engineering and he obtained an Executive MBA from the University of Memphis. During his legislative term in the House John served as: Sr. Chairman of the Finance Committee. Chairman of Regulatory Reform Committee, Chairman of Alcohol Beverage Control (ABC) Committee, Chairman of Local Government, Member of K-12 Education, Insurance, Banking, Agriculture and Transportation, and Majority Freshman Deputy Whip.
Pat Jackson, 2025 Chamber Public Policy Chair, will emcee the program.
Focus Friday is a public policy program of the Lake Norman Chamber of Commerce which examines community and legislative issues from multiple perspectives. While intended for Lake Norman Chamber of Commerce members and community leaders, guests are welcome but MUST RSVP with the Chamber in advance.
The program is presented by Novant Health - Huntersville Medical Center and sponsored by Business Today and WSIC 105.9 FM. The Lake Norman Chamber of Commerce, with approximately 850 business members, represents the Huntersville, Davidson, Cornelius, and greater Lake Norman regional business community.
