HUNTERSVILLE – The Lake Norman Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce that the signature event of the Chamber, the Lake Norman Business Expo, is set to take place again at the Huntersville Recreation Center located at 11836 Verhoeff Drive in Huntersville. The location is beside the Merancas Campus of Central Piedmont Community College (CPCC) and directly across the street from the Huntersville Family Fitness and Aquatics Center.

The Expo will take place Tuesday, Oct. 8 from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. The event is OPEN to the public and there is NO admission charge.

The Lake Norman Business Expo, presented by Randy Marion Automotive, is the longest-running signature event of the Chamber, first appearing as a standalone networking event in 2001. Held at Davidson College from 2002-2018, the location in Huntersville gives the tradeshow an opportunity to take advantage of a higher population and business density. 

On a single floor, businesses are concentrated in one area in contrast to the three different areas at the Davidson Belk Arena, which hosted previous events. There is also ample parking with both the Recreation Center parking lot and a shared lot with CPCC, which is not in session that day, allowing for more parking for guests.

The Business Expo has become the largest business-to-business trade show in the Lake region. More than 1,700 people are expected to attend and visit with approximately 120 business exhibitors and non-profits.
