Exploration Day - Aspire Trade High School

Description

The Aspire Trade High School will be the first charter school to focus on both industry specific career and technical education and traditional academics in Mecklenburg County. This innovative school complete with nine plus trade labs will allow students to choose industry specific careers such as carpentry, HVAC, masonry/tile, plumbing, and welding/fabrication/robotics. Other career paths being explored include sustainable agriculture/hydroponics, culinary, electrical, advanced manufacturing automation, automotive, IT/data science and heavy equipment operator. We are considering entry level medical careers such as certified nursing assistant, medical assistant, and medical coding specialist. Our vision is to allow high school students the opportunity to choose occupations that will involve academic study, hands-on training and skill building.
