Join the Lake Norman Chamber of Commerce for our Annual Education Power Luncheon, a premier event dedicated to recognizing and celebrating excellence in education.
At that meeting, the Chamber will also present the Outstanding Educator for Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools (CMS), Charter Schools, and Private Schools along with the “Inspire our Future” Award to the Lake Norman business or corporation that promotes career placement and vocational education.
Presented by Atrium Health, this luncheon honors outstanding educators across Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools (CMS), Charter Schools, and Private Schools, as well as the recipient of the "Inspire Our Future" Award, given to a business or corporation that has demonstrated a strong commitment to career placement and vocational education.
The cost to attend the luncheon is $35 per person / $40 non-members and the program is presented by Atrium Health. This signature event is proudly supported by the Lake Norman Chamber Foundation and Business Today Cornelius Today and WSIC.

About our speaker:
Brett Fansler - Executive Director for Corporate Engagement at Central Piedmont Community College
For over 26 years, Brett Fansler has been an advocate for workforce development initiatives locally, regionally, and nationally. He has worked in the private sector for six years prior to finding his PASSION in workforce education. Brett has served three of our great NC Community Colleges in several capacities - Director, Division Director, Dean & Executive Director. He has written or co-authored over $4 million of Federal, State, Corporate Foundation grants targeted at specific workforce development initiatives.
Served on the Board of the National Council for Workforce Education for eight years
Chaired and served on many scholarship boards for aspiring/accomplished students.-Conducted Job Profiles as an Authorized WorkKeys Job profiler. Presented at numerous conferences across the country focused on Workforce Development.
