Iredell Mooresville is the newest venture of Iredell Health System, a 68,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility that is home to Iredell Urgent Care – the only 24-hour urgent care facility in the area outside of a hospital emergency room — and an ambulatory surgery center, the first of its kind in Mooresville (Iredell Surgery at Mooresville). It also includes a state-of-the-art diagnostic imaging center with CT, ultrasound, 3D mammography and x-ray (Iredell Imaging at Mooresville); Iredell Occupational Medicine; Iredell Rehab at Mooresville; Family Care Center of Mooresville; Iredell Cardiology; Statesville Cardiovascular; and multiple other physician practices.

Iredell Health System broke ground on its Mooresville expansion in early January 2020. The campus's first phase opened June 2, 2021, and the 17.2-acre property will eventually have multiple buildings serving various purposes, totaling 200,000 square feet.

The overall intent of the new campus? To meet the growing healthcare needs of the community and keep healthcare local.
