Join us for an informative Focus Friday featuring the organization dedicated to preserving, protecting, and enhancing the safe and enjoyable use of Lake Norman. The Commission works collaboratively with local governments, law enforcement agencies, emergency responders, and community stakeholders to address issues involving boating safety, waterway regulations, environmental stewardship, lake access, and responsible recreation throughout the region.

As Lake Norman continues to experience tremendous growth and increased activity, the work of the Marine Commission has become more important than ever. This Focus Friday discussion will provide attendees with valuable insight into current initiatives, lake safety efforts, ongoing challenges, and future priorities impacting both residents and businesses connected to the lake community.

Whether you are a boater, waterfront resident, business owner, or simply someone who enjoys all that Lake Norman has to offer, this conversation will provide a unique opportunity to learn more about the organization helping guide the future of our region’s most valuable natural resource.

Focus Friday is a public policy program of the Lake Norman Chamber of Commerce that examines community and legislative issues from multiple perspectives. Held monthly, these events feature discussions led by local leaders, policymakers, and experts on topics such as economic development, public safety, and community planning. Focus Friday provides a platform for members and guests to engage in meaningful dialogue, gain insights into regional initiatives, and stay informed about matters affecting the Lake Norman area. The program is presented by Novant Health - Huntersville Medical Center and sponsored by Business Today and WSIC 105.9 FM. While intended for Lake Norman Chamber members and community leaders, guests are welcome to attend.
