Topic: North Carolina Legislative Update

Join us for Focus Friday: Raleigh Update, featuring Representative Beth Helfrich and Senator Vickie Sawyer, who will provide a timely North Carolina Legislative Update with a focus on business-related issues. This session will highlight key legislative priorities, policy discussions, and regulatory considerations currently shaping the state’s economic environment. Attendees will gain insight into how decisions made in Raleigh may impact local businesses, workforce development, infrastructure, and regional growth. This focused, informative discussion offers Chamber members and guests the opportunity to stay informed, better anticipate change, and engage directly with state leaders on issues that matter to the Lake Norman business community.

Focus Friday is a public policy program of the Lake Norman Chamber of Commerce that examines community and legislative issues from multiple perspectives. Held monthly, these events feature discussions led by local leaders, policymakers, and experts on topics such as economic development, public safety, and community planning. Focus Friday provides a platform for members and guests to engage in meaningful dialogue, gain insights into regional initiatives, and stay informed about matters affecting the Lake Norman area. The program is presented by Novant Health - Huntersville Medical Center and sponsored by Business Today and WSIC 105.9 FM. While intended for Lake Norman Chamber members and community leaders, guests are welcome to attend.
